Agile Scrum Master - CRM and Marketing

About the role -

As an Agile Scrum Master, you will be responsible for promoting Agile values and principles within a project team and will facilitate a variety of Agile meetings, workshops and Scrum ceremonies including story grooming, sprint planning. You will foster the team’s self-organization and do anything possible to help the team realize the goals of their sprints. You will produce charts, release reports and dashboards that will support the Scrum teams overall health by providing sprint status, release status, burndown and velocity. This role is key to delivery of an integrated core technology platform and will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of the product and in accordance with the secure development lifecycle.

Responsibilities -

• Work closely with engineers and product managers to distill technical requirements into easily actionable user stories and plans

• Develop, maintain and effectively execute build iterations throughout the life of assigned projects, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration and associated resource requirements

• Enable collaboration across all roles and functions, Encourage the team to be self-organizing and self-managing. Encourage organic interaction over scheduled meetings

• Identifying and remove or escalate any distractions, impediments or roadblocks

• Focus on delivery and quality by encouraging teamwork, transparency and collaboration, minimizing silos and blind hand-offs

• Develop and manage detailed release plans and reusable deployment plans

• Creatively facilitate sprint ceremonies to elicit ideas and improvements

• Any other tasks assigned as duties can change at any time as manager/company deem necessary

Requirements -

The successful applicant will have the following experience and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of relevant software development or product management experience

• Certification and experience in a proven product delivery methodology such as Agile and Scrum is preferred

• Understands backlog tracking and task definition

• Familiarity with techniques such as user design thinking, story boarding, story pointing, test driven development

• Effective at planning and coordinating software releases at various intervals

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent collaboration skill with business and technical peers

• Experience with rapid prototyping and evaluation of customer applications

• A track record of project delivery for large cross-functional projects

• Up to 10% travel per year

• Experience in retail banking or financial services industry is a plus
